STATE-LEVEL COORDINATING AGENCY
The State Level Coordinating Agency (SLCA) is a project in Chhattisgarh that provides training and support to teams working on drug abuse prevention and treatment. The SLCA was established on April 1, 2020 and has since given 250 training programs to various institutions. It also works to coordinate the efforts of these teams and monitor their performance to ensure that they are providing quality services. Additionally, the SLCA works with the state government to achieve its goals of minimizing drug abuse in the state.
The SLCA in Chhattisgarh provides training and support to stakeholders and service providers on early identification of substance use, de-addiction counseling and rehabilitation, and substance use prevention. This training helps to ensure that these stakeholders and service providers have the knowledge and skills they need to effectively address the problem of drug abuse in the state. The SLCA's training programs also help to build capacity among stakeholders and service providers, helping them to develop the skills and resources they need to sustain their work in the long term.
